OOC (out of character): If you join this RPG, please do not auto other peoples' characters. Don't kill anyone else's characters without their consent. Please be civil. Violence is allowed. It's just an RPG. Also, on your first post in here, please state what characters you are controling. I'm controling Sands and Jay and any characters that haven't been claimed. I made Jay up, and I am controlling both her and Sands. If you wish to claim a character that isn't claimed and I have been playing as, feel free to, and I will stop writing in that character. That will be your job. Your also welcome to create your own character. Jay is created. I don't belive she was in OUaTiM. This IS a OUaTiM RPG (post OUaTiM), so no Jack Sparrow or any other characters from any other of those movies.
BIC (back in character):
Agent Jay Haven of the C.I.A. walked down the street of a Mexican city. Wow. Lots of distruction. This was crazy. She had heard that there was a coup going on, but this was ridiculous. 2nd best agent of the C.I.A., Jay was prepared for anything to happen. Should anyone even try to hurt her, she had a gun loaded and ready, silencer already in place.
I didn't LOOK like anyone was going to hurt her. Everyone in sight was dead. She was walking down the sidewalk. It was sad in a way, but probably necessary.
The familiar jingle sounded from her cell phone. She flipped it up automatically to her ear.
"Yeah?"
"Haven."
"Aye Cap'n?"
"Cut out the nautical-ness. Where are you?"
"At the coup that has recently happened. I'm a little too late."
"Too bad. Watch yourself. We were calling to check and see if you're alive. We believe we have already lost an agent to some kind of incident during the coup."
"I guess I should be grateful."
"You aren't?"
Jay pondered that. "No not really."
"Keep your attitude under control Haven. That's why you're down there."
"Aye Cap'n, sir."
"Haven."
Jay smiled and hung up. Mook.
Suddenly, something (or someone) caught Jay's eye. In her path on the sidewalk, lying on the ground, was a corpse. She would have felt sick, had she not seen even worse sights. But strange enough, it wasn't a Mexican.
Sitting next to the corpse, shaking it, was a young Mexican boy. Jay, knowing that the corpse was...well...a corpse, called to the boy, asking him what happened. The boy began to explainl, but was interrupted by the corpse coughing.
Jay jumped backwards in surprise. The corpse...well...man...propped himself up on his elbows.
"Kid. I think you should go. I think...I'm dying." The man coughed again. He seemed not to notice Jay standing there. She noticed the blood flowing freely from under the man's dark shades. What had happened to this man?
"Sir?" asked Jay.
The head snapped in Jay's direction.
"Who's there?" he asked.
"Um...I'm an agent of the C.I.A. What happened?"
The man chuckled and shook his head. "Hell happened, Agent...?"
"Haven."
"Your mother named you Haven?"
"No, that's my last name. Agent Jay Haven of the Central Intelligence Agency. And boy am I glad that you speak English."
"Why wouldn't I?"
"For all I know you grew up in Mexico. Your name?"
"Agent Sands of the Central Intelligence Agency."
Jay shook her head. What were the chances?
"The agency thinks you're dead."
"They have rights to."
"Can I help you in any way?"
"Find two eyes lying around and give them to me."
"Are you kidding me?"
"I lost mine."
"What happened."
"Maybe I don't want to tell you."
How frustrating could this guy get?
"Can I take you to a hospital?"
"No."
"You clearly need to go. Bullet wounds and...yeah."
"Do you think that the hospital can make me see again? I don't think so. Can I die in peace now?"
With that, Sands (with painful difficulty) rolled over on his other side so that his back was facing her. He seemed to be shunning her.
The Mexican kid had disappeared. Jay assumed that he had left like the agent had said. She didn't know whether Sands had fainted or not. He was just lying there.
Knowing she had to get the man some help (mentally and physically), Jay grabbed Sands by the shoulder and heaved him up. After all, she couldn't just leave him here dying, could she? He either was going limp on purpose, or he had really passed out, because he was being a major pain.
Jay's black Mustang was nearby where she had parked it. She dragged Sands in that direction. She knew where a hospital was. She had been there several times herself.
'Well, maybe I'll get brownie points with the captain for this, if this Sands guy IS an agent,' thought Jay, after heaving Sands into the passenger seat, getting in the other side, and starting the car.
